With this hardcover book, young children (ages 1 to 5) will easily learn the names of numbers from 1 through 20, recognize these numbers, and learn to count.
   Instead of just learning the numbers, they will be able to see what the numbers actually mean. For example, parents can show them what the number "three" means by pointing to the cookies shown on that page... "one, two, three cookies" (see the page sample below).
   Also, at the end of the book, for slightly older children, there is a section that shows the basic concepts behind addition and subtraction.
